A lifetime of care,
poured into every piece.

For 34 years, Sam June Cameron dedicated her career to nursing—caring for people with compassion, patience and close attention to the little things.

A gifted artist too, Sam brought those two worlds together in SJC Home Fragrance. In her small-batch studio, every candle is measured and tested, every diffuser thoughtfully composed, and every order hand-finished as if it were a gift for someone special.

From Sam’s small studio in Bispham, Blackpool, each limited batch is prepared for tracked delivery to homes across the United Kingdom.

Candle care

A beautiful burn,
from first light to last.

    Trim

    Keep your wick at approximately 5mm before each burn.

    Set the memory

    Let the first melt pool reach the edge of the vessel.

  3. 03

    Burn beautifully

    Enjoy for 2–4 hours at a time on a heat-resistant surface.

    Reuse

    Stop at 1cm of wax, then clean and treasure your vessel.

Why quality and care matter

Why do SJC candles cost more than some high-street candles?

SJC candles are produced in small batches with carefully selected materials, measured recipes, considered vessels and product testing. The price reflects the ingredients, time, presentation and care involved—not simply the lowest possible cost.

Will the fragrance feel the same throughout the candle?

Fragrance perception naturally varies with room size, airflow, burn time and personal sensitivity. SJC candles follow a consistent recorded recipe and are tested as a complete candle. Following the supplied care guidance helps each candle perform at its best.

How does Sam test each candle design?

Before release, Sam assesses the combination of wax, fragrance, wick and vessel, including flame behaviour and melt-pool development. Product-specific safety and care information is supplied with every candle.
